“Venice… as a Jewelry Box”
03/03/2024
Venice remains an eternal beacon of beauty. Join me in leisurely exploration, discovering the city's subtle marvels after costumed figures gracefully fade from its alleys. Let's immerse ourselves in this early spring month, ascending the steps of numerous bridges, pausing to witness gondolas gliding lazily by. Journey with me to small shops where the age-old crafts of Venice endure — from bookbinding and papermaking to shoemaking and tailoring. Alternatively, explore Antonio's modest workshop at the base of the Rialto bridge, where his distinctive masks have taken shape for four decades.
Indulge in the simple pleasure of a cappuccino on Florian's terrace, accompanied by the soothing notes of live music. Or, soak up the sun along the Grand Canal in Dorsoduro, sipping Aperol and savoring cicchetti. Venice…a treasure trove of doors, window panes, knockers, angels, cupids, churches, tinkling bells, and myriad wonders of human creation — an artistic masterpiece in a jewel box. I invite you to come with me on this enchanting journey. I hope you will enjoy it.

Welcome back
01/01/2024
I closed my photography site and shop three years ago in the midst of the pandemic's first wave, because with no new projects on the horizon, it seemed like a good time to take a break.Three years flew by. I started shooting these photos in 2008 and 2009, but I took the time to look over everything with fresh eyes. It was the most exciting work and I decided to reopen my site and my shop soon after. In the age of clickbait, infotainment and overstimulation, slow thought and a slower pace of life has become a luxury. But I believe in the power of my artistic work and I hope my art work inspires people to try to keep our beautiful world in their hearts and souls.
So I am getting back to square one and let’s see how my story unfolds…
